The traditional tavern O Kalofagas, which many may also know as "Kotsidou", has been operating since 1970 until today in Vrilissia with the same quality and the same pure ingredients. The shop was started by a family originally from the famous Lefkada, who are the parents of the current owner. They worked on the business with love and passion until about 1994, and then it passed to the current family, which has managed to maintain the quality of the products to this day. The name of the tavern says it all! Kalofagas is famous for its local stable steaks, which are fed by the owners themselves, to make them tender and delicious. For anyone who thinks stables are tough, we challenge them to try them! Kalofagas started by having them as a specialty, and years later it is still the dish that characterizes him.
A stable steak can be from 600-1,200g.
In addition to the stable steaks, the beef fillet, lamb ribs, pork steak and T-bone are also excellent, while all the meats are local and of high quality. The tavern's fries are always handmade and freshly cut, and all the other dishes on the extensive menu are meticulously prepared with family care.
The white wine and oil are of their own production. You can enjoy all this in a warm and tasteful place.
